MARISSA MERRILL

2025/26 Girls coach

Marissa Merrill is in her second season with Houlagan Lacrosse, serving most recently as a coach for the 2025/26 Girls Team.

Marissa has been the Head Women's Lacrosse Coach at Spaulding High School in Rochester, NH since 2014. Merrill has served an Assistant Coach for the Red Raiders in 2013, New England Selects in 2013, and Dover High School in 2008. 

Marissa is originally from Dover, NH, graduating from Dover High in 2007. While at Dover High, Marissa was a Captain for the Greenwave her Senior year, while also being named to the Fosters Daily Democrat Dream-Team. Merrill was voted Team MVP her Junior and Senior year.

Marissa loves spend time with her husband, Gary, and two year old daughter, Mia. She hopes one day Mia shares her passion for lacrosse, so she watch her on the field!
